The story

Hi, I'm Connor. I make these by hand.

I started building The Beat Brick because making music had started to feel like managing software. I wanted to get ideas out the way they show up in my head — fast, physical, and away from a screen.

So I designed an instrument I actually wanted to play: pads, keys, and knobs you can learn in an afternoon, portable enough to take to a friend's couch, a park, or a green room. Every machine in this batch is assembled, tested, and packed by me.

This founders run is small on purpose. I'd rather build ten machines for people who get it than a thousand for people who don't. If that's you, I'd love to build yours.

Founders batch means early, handmade, and real.

This is the first real preorder run, not a mature factory product with thousands of shipped units behind it. If you buy one of these ten, you are backing the moment where The Beat Brick becomes a real object in real hands.

There may be delays

Parts, assembly, firmware, QA, and packaging can take longer than expected in a small hardware batch.

There may be handmade character

Small cosmetic differences or finish variation can happen. Anything that affects actual use will be treated seriously.

Is this a finished product?

It is a real product, but this is the first real boutique run. Expect a more personal, handmade experience than a mass-market consumer electronics launch.

What if production slips?

You will get updates. The tracking page and email system are built so Connor can communicate delays, photos, and progress instead of disappearing.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Yes. If you want to cancel before your Beat Brick ships, email connor@makebeatsanywhere.com and Connor will help with the refund. Once an order has shipped, email support and it will be handled case by case.

Is international shipping available?

The first checkout pass is configured for U.S. shipping addresses only. International batches can be opened later once shipping and tax handling are ready.
